What topics will be covered and what will they be doing exactly?
The first goal of our group is to create a fun, comfortable environment for your child. We will then address social skills that help people develop and maintain relationships. We will collaboratively build a "toolbox" with tools to help your child recognize emotions in others and find ways to cope with social stressors.
This course will use discussions, activities, games, crafts, and reflection time to engage your child. We will focus on fun and engaging activities that encourage learning through play.
What is your covid protocol?
This program will be offered in-person. To reduce risk of COVID transmission, we will be meeting in our spacious group therapy room and sanitization stations will be available for use.
If COVID symptoms are present, participants will be unable to attend and will be contacted by one of the leaders to make up for missed therapy time.
If participants wish to wear masks they are able to do so. We will not allow any judgement based on their personal choice.
