The 12 hour program costs $750 (we do have an early bird rate of $650 for payments made by April 15 2022)
how many participants will there be?
We will limit the program to a maximum of 8 people.
What topics will be covered and what will they be doing exactly?
Our group will first aim to help participants understand and identify emotions in themselves and others. We will then address the connection between thoughts and feelings, and support participants in changing any unhelpful thoughts. We will collaboratively build a "toolbox" with tools to help your child cope with hard feelings like anxiety and anger.
This course will use discussions, activities, games, between-session projects and reflection time to engage your child. We will focus on fun and engaging activities that encourage learning through play.
What is your covid protocol?
This program will be offered in-person. To reduce risk of COVID transmission, we will be meeting in our spacious group therapy room and sanitization stations will be available for use.
If COVID symptoms are present, participants will be unable to attend and will be contacted by one of the leaders to make up for missed therapy time.
If participants wish to wear masks they are able to do so. We will not allow any judgement based on their personal choice.
Will my insurance cover the course?
Group therapy might be covered by your insurance plan. Your insurance provider can give you this information, just let them know that this program is a group therapy program being provided by a Registered Psychologist.
